Balanced shards are crafted in the crucible or Thaumatorium. They actually have six distinct recipes: Any of the six types of Primal Shards must be combined with 2 points apiece of the essentias for the other five primal aspects.
Uses[]
They have no direct use as an item, but are an important ingredient in many advanced crafts, including Salis Mundus (another intermediate ingredient), the advanced wand cores, and Primal Charms.
